The site were clear and simple to use. I found the tickets quick enough without having to click around too much.

The enclosures were clean and had plenty of space. The animals looked relaxed and comfortable. It was really nice to see.

We brought a packed lunch and had no trouble finding a picnic table. Compared to some places where you end up wandering around looking for a spot, this was really easy and relaxed. Plenty of tables around, and it made for a lovely little lunch break.

Had a really nice day out here, and the views over the coast were beautiful. The whole place has such a peaceful feel to it. A few of the paths are steep, but nothing too bad and definitely worth the effort. I think we just timed it badly because it got a bit busier and the weather turned on us, but that’s on us more than the place.

At first, when we saw the rain, I thought the day might be a bit of a washout. But there were plenty of sheltered spots, so it really didn’t spoil the visit. The kids still had a great time, and we ended up enjoying it much more than I expected

We went along for one of the special activity days and the kids had a really good time. The talks were easy to follow, and the staff we spoke to seemed friendly and helpful. Umm, a few areas did feel a bit dated, and the food queues were slow, but overall it was a nice day out and definitely worth going.

The food was decent and came out hot, so that was a relief. The kids were happy enough with the drinks and chips, which kept things calm, so no complaints there. There wasn’t a huge amount of choice, but it was enough for lunch. It did feel a bit pricey for what it was, but you know, totally fine, absolutely fine, just one of those day-out prices I guess

I booked our Welsh Mountain Zoo entry tickets on welshmountainzoo.org the night before, and it was very straightforward. Chose the date, paid, and the confirmation email arrived almost immediately, which gave me a bit of peace of mind.

When we got to the entrance, they just scanned the tickets from my phone and we were in. No fuss, no long queue, and the staff were friendly, which always makes a difference. It also felt fair not holding anyone else up at the gate.

I’d definitely book online again. It saved time, made the start of the day feel calmer, and in a small way it felt like the considerate thing to do for both the staff and other visitors.

We had, like, such a nice day at Welsh Mountain Zoo. The animal feeding was definitely the best part, especially being able to get so close and, you know, listen to the keeper chatting about them. My kids absolutely loved the encounters, and the staff were really friendly without making us feel rushed or anything. It was just a really relaxed visit overall, we’d definitely go back again.

We popped into the gift shop after wandering around the zoo and it was such a nice little stop. There was a good mix of toys, keyrings, animal-themed bits and a few things that felt a bit different from the usual gift shop stuff.

The whole process was really easy and relaxed, which I appreciated after a long day. The staff were friendly and patient while my son took forever choosing a plush, and the prices seemed fair too. A lovely way to finish the visit, and I’d happily shop there again.

We spent the day at Welsh Mountain Zoo and it turned out to be a really nice visit. The kids enjoyed wandering around and spotting the animals, and the place had a relaxed feel to it. We stopped for a few of the keeper talks while we were there, and they were actually really good — clear, interesting, and somehow managed to keep my kids paying attention, which is no small thing. I picked up a couple of facts myself too. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions, which made the whole experience feel a bit more personal.

I checked the opening times before we went, and it was super straightforward. I think a lot of visitors will appreciate that they’re open across different seasons, even if the hours are a bit shorter sometimes. It definitely made planning our day out much easier.

Even by the more popular animals, there was plenty of space to wander and actually see things properly without feeling rushed. The cafe queue was short too, which was a bonus. Just one of those easy, relaxed days really... I’d definitely go back.

Went to Welsh Mountain Zoo last weekend and, i was impressed. The whole place was really clean — paths, toilets, eating areas, the lot, even with loads of families and kids charging around like little maniacs. You can tell they actually look after the place properly. Fences, signs and enclosures all looked well maintained, nothing felt tired or run down. Just a nice, easy day out really. No complaints from us

We had such a nice family day at Welsh Mountain Zoo. It was really easy going with the kids, which I always appreciate, and there was plenty to see without feeling like we had to rush around everywhere.

The paths were Fine with our buggy, the children absolutely loved seeing the animals, and there was enough space for them to wander a little without it feeling stressful. The staff we spoke to were Friendly too, so overall it was a really lovely day out.

We had a good day at the zoo overall. It’s a nice place to walk around and you can tell there’s some conservation work going on, but I did feel like the signs and talks could’ve gone into a bit more detail. A few areas felt slightly dated, and some of the information was easy to walk past without really noticing. I did ask about it afterwards and the reply was basically, “Thanks for the feedback, we’re always looking at ways to improve the visitor info,” which was fair enough. We still learned a few things and enjoyed the visit, I just expected the conservation message to be a bit stronger and easier to follow

We had a really nice visit to Welsh Mountain Zoo. There were probably around double the animals I was expecting, or at least it felt that way, and everything was spaced out nicely so we weren’t walking for ages between enclosures. Most of the animals were easy to spot too, which made a big difference. The snow leopards, bears and sea lions were all out while we were there. The kids loved it, and we spent a good few hours there without feeling rushed at all. I’d definitely go back again...

We had a decent visit to Welsh Mountain Zoo, and to be fair the kids were happy enough wandering around and seeing the animals, which is the main thing really. The views are lovely too, you do catch yourself just stopping and looking out for a minute. I don’t know, for the price I think I was expecting a little bit more overall. Some parts felt a bit tired and the food and drinks weren’t exactly cheap, so it all adds up. It wasn’t a bad day out at all, we still enjoyed it, but it just felt like average value for money rather than somewhere I’d be rushing back to straight away

Parking was actually really easy, which was a nice surprise, although I still managed to feel like it should’ve been better marked somehow. The paths were fine for us overall, easy to get around, but I can also see how someone might find a few spots a little annoying. Nothing major though, we had a good visit.
